Oliya Academy

To build bright, capable, and ethical digital professionals who can solve local problems and deliver world-class technology creating opportunity, progress, and pride for the nation.

What Oliya Academy Represents

Oliya Academy is the heart of Oliya.tech, the first of its three interconnected divisions — Train → Build → Innovate. Where Oliya Digital Agency delivers real projects and Oliya Labs incubates new ideas, the Academy builds the talent itself. The Academy exists to transform students from any background — whether rural, urban, graduate, or diploma holder — into confident, employable IT professionals. Its three-month program is not a traditional course; it is a simulation of a real technology company.

Every batch becomes a micro-company where developers, designers, analysts, marketers, and communicators collaborate under one roof, guided by experienced mentors from the UK and India.

Each day mirrors how industry operates: a morning stand-up meeting, coding or design sprints, QA checks, marketing deliverables, and an end-of-day retrospective. By the end of twelve weeks, students have produced working systems, analytics dashboards, and documentation that match corporate standards.

The Vision Behind the Training Wing

Oliya.tech was founded to bridge India’s persistent gap between education and employability.
While millions graduate in computer science every year, less than one-quarter are industry-ready.
The reason is simple: most courses teach syntax, not systems; theory, not delivery. The Academy fixes this by making every learning hour part of a live Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Students don’t just hear about concepts—they plan requirements, design interfaces, code modules, test features, deploy on cloud, and market the finished product. The result is genuine project literacy and a mindset of accountability. We create a sustainable, high-impact learning environment that merges hands-on IT training, real project execution, and architectural mentorship.

Students leave not just as coders or designers, but as professionals who understand teamwork, deadlines, client expectations, and documentation — the pillars of modern IT delivery.

How the academy works

Each 12-week batch (≈ 500 hours) runs as an interconnected ecosystem of five parallel streams — four technical and one compulsory foundation. Every stream moves in sync: front-end developers build interfaces that depend on back-end APIs; digital-marketing teams wait for design and QA to approve live pages before launching campaigns; and English mentors weave through it all, ensuring every student can communicate, document, and present their work with clarity and confidence.

How We Train — The Miniature IT Company Model

At Oliya, each batch functions exactly like a small-scale enterprise. Instead of classrooms, we have delivery pods. Instead of assignments, we have sprints. Instead of exams, we have demo days where students present working models.

Understanding SDLC –
The Foundation of Everything

The Software Development Life Cycle is the universal process for building reliable software.
Every major technology firm — TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte — follows it.
Learning SDLC gives students a language that every recruiter understands.

The Seven Phases of SDLC

Requirement Analysis – understanding user needs and business goals.

Planning – defining scope, timeline, and responsibilities.

Design (UI/UX/CX) – visualising interfaces and user flows.

Development – coding front-end and back-end modules.

Testing & QA – verifying function, performance, and security.

Deployment – moving the product to cloud infrastructure.

Maintenance – monitoring, analytics, continuous improvement.

At Oliya Academy, each phase corresponds to specific weekly milestones so that students internalise the entire cycle by repetition.
